2. Download the latest version of Flash Player

If you don't have the latest version, download it here: Adobe Flash Player download

3. Install Flash Player

After you download Flash Player, follow the installation instructions that appear on the download page.

4. Enable Flash Player in your browser

5. Verify whether Flash Player is installed

If you see clouds moving in the animation below, you have successfully installed Flash Player. Congratulations!

What is the alternative to what? Adobe Flash Player? A Mac immune to malware that seeks to convince you an update to it is necessary, one that isn't affected by bandwidth-intensive advertisements for junk you don't need, one that doesn't consume excessive power? What else would you like to know?

You don't need it. It's old and inefficient technology that the world would be better off without. HTML5 has been incorporated in Safari for years. If a website needs Adobe Flash Player, I don't need that website.
